History/Honours

The club was formed in 2009 following the demise of the old Berkhamsted Town club, so has only a short history.

Long-time Town supporter Ben Terry led the drive to form a new Club for the town, nicknamed The Comrades, a nod to the original name of the Town Club.

After much hard work, especially in renovating the Broadwater ground, the Club recruited former Leverstock Green manager Micky Vipond to build a team.

The Club’s first team play in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division, whilst our reserve team are members of the Suburban League Northern Division. The Club also has an under-18s team, who play in the Southern Counties Floodlit Youth League Delphian division.

The first team completed their debut season as Division Two Champions, and also reached two cup semi-finals, the Division Two Cup and the St Mary’s Cup.

2010-11 saw the Club take Division One by storm and secure their second consecutive Championship under Mick Vipond’s guidence, losing only one of their 40 league games to gain 107 points and scoring 122 goals. The Club were presented with the Sir Stanley Rous trophy in honour of this outstanding season.

2011 saw us promoted to the Spartan South Midlands Premier league and entry into the F.A. Cup.

2013 marked the club’s first cup final taking the St Marys Cup with a 3-1 win at home to Tring Athletic.
