Berkhamsted start pre-season training for the first team and reserves on Tuesday July 3rd 6:30pm for 7pm sharp at Kitcheners Fields and new players are welcome as well as the returning squad. There are a few changes behind the scenes for the new season. Mick Vipond has added Lee Wakefield to his first team coaching group, filling a gap caused by Steve Boad’s increasing work commitments.

The proposed line up for the Premier division contains only two new teams, the duo promoted from division 1 of London Colney and Ampthill Town replacing relegated Hatfield Town and promoted Royston Town.

Berko continue to run a reserve side in the Suburban League and have appointed Dave Walters as manager with Jim Hart as his assistant. Paul Tomkins, the previous manager has gone to assist Paul Burgess at Chesham United Reserves. The emphasis at Broadwater will be on developing local youngsters that have the potential to break into the first team squad.
