Hertford Town v Comrades

1507 – Berko go a goal up at Hertford, Tony Burnett converting from the spot after the home keeper felled Matty Wardle.

1508 – Bad news for the reserves though as they go a goal down.

1517 – It’s level at Hertford as the home side score with a far post header.

1518 – A great knock from Wes Ewing is headed on for Chris Newell to go round the keeper and level for the reserves. Both games now 1-1.

1522 – The reserves don’t stay level long, Beaconsfield’s Dayo Oshitoya sliding the ball under Freddie Hester.

1548 – Half-time at Hertford and it’s 1-1. One enforced switch for Berko is Josh Chamberlain replacing the injured Steve Hawes.

1551 – The reserves are 2-1 down at the break.

1603 – Bad news from Hertford where the home side now lead 2-1.

1614 – An excellent finish from Beaconsfield’s Ioan Vranceanu puts the reserves two goals behind at 3-1.

1637 – No more news from Hertford, but the reserves are now 4-1 down.

1653 – Final score is in from Hertford and the Comrades suffer their first loss, going down 2-1. Jim Carmichael got himself sent off for retaliation in the last minute. Jordan Toomey went closest for Berko, rattling the bar.

1657 – And the final whistle has blown at Broadwater, where the visitors won 4-1.
