Provisional Line-Ups for 2011-12

With AGM season well underway, our league opponents for next season have begun to take shape. The SSMFL draft constitution throws up no surprises for the Comrades:

PREMIER DIVISION
AFC Dunstable – PROMOTED
Aylesbury United
Berkhamsted – PROMOTED
Biggleswade United
Broxbourne Borough V&E
Colney Heath
Dunstable Town
Hadley
Hanwell Town
Harefield United
Haringey Borough
Hertford Town
Hillingdon Borough
Holmer Green
Leverstock Green
London Tigers
Oxhey Jets
Royston Town
St Margaretsbury

Tring Athletic

In Division One, Kentish Town and Langford join after relegation from the Premier Division, Padbury United are promoted from Division Two, Tokyngton Manor are reinstated after suspension and Chesham United Reserves join as a new team.

Division Two welcomes Stony Stratford Town, relegated from Division One, alongside Hey Leys Town and MK City new members.

Should the AGM ratify these proposals, the SSMFL will start with a more balanced structure of 22-22-16 teams across three divisions.

The Suburban League sees Berko in a revised Northern Division of sixteen teams, reduced from nineteen:

NORTHERN DIVISION
AFC Hayes
Ash United – NEW APPLICANT
Barton Rovers
Beaconsfield SYCOB – RELEGATED
Berkhamsted
Chalfont St Peter
Cobham – TRANSFERRED
Farnborough – NEW APPLICANT
Hanworth Villa
Hartley Wintney
Leighton Town
Leverstock Green
Mole Valley SCR – NEW APPLICANT
Newport Pagnell Town
Northwood – RELEGATED
Tring Athletic

It is important to note that both these constitutions are PROVISIONAL, pending final ratification at their respective AGMs.
