1459: We’re off.

1501: Anthony Page is set loose but his centre is collected easily by the keeper.

1515: We’re a quarter of an hour in and Berko are on top, but Town have defended well.

1519: A moment of drama as Page heads a corner back towards the far post but is cleared off the line. The clearance then sees Matty Wardle collide with the ref!

1520: The opener comes in unlikely circumstances as Aaron Usmani chases a lost ball, and nips round defender and keeper to slide home. 1-0

1524: It’s all go now, Adam Mead firing just wide from the edge of the box.

1530: Another close call for Town as Power volleys the ball back towards goal, and Tom Woodward makes an acrobatic tip onto the bar and over.

1533: Great chance for Berko from a Rodrigoe free-kick, the powerful centre being glanced over.

1546: Despite bossing the half, the Comrades have just a goal lead to show for their efforts at the break.

Half-time: 1-0

1603: The second half is underway.

1604: First chance falls to Bunks, but his effort drifts wide.

1606: And again but the assistants flag ends Berko’s hopes.

1609: Third time lucky for Bunker as he trips the offside trap and clips the ball over Woodward and into the goal. 2-0

1619: The pressure continues and Bunks sidefoots a Rodrigoe cross home to make it 3-0 before making way for James Armstrong. 3-0

1623: Josh Chamberlain replaces Matty Wardle for the Comrades.

1626: You can make the 4-0 as Jimmy Armstrong heads in an Adam Mead corner. 4-0

1628: And now Colin Wilson heads close before Josh Chamberlain heads in from a Burnett cross to take the Comrades nap. 5-0

1633: Next it’s Aaron Usmani’s turn but the keeper blocks well, before Berko make their last change as Jamie Gavin replace Danny Power.

1641: Eddie Farmer asks who won the National? We’ve seen precious little of the ball at the canal end this half.

1645: Adam Mead rattles the crossbar with a fine curling effort.

1650: Berko break and it looks certain to be six, but Armstrong miss hits wide.

Full-time: 5-0

The Comrades are promoted!

AFC Dunstable were winning 2-0 at Kings Langley at half-time, and should they win, Berko need one more point for the Championship.
