Comrades Beat Cranfield

Berkhamsted added another three points to their promotion campaign tally thanks to a convincing 3-0 victory at Cranfield United in midweek.

The Comrades dominated throughout on an excellent surface, rising star Chris Colman crossing for Adam Mead to head the opener on twenty-eight minutes.

Further chances were thwarted by excellent stops from the home ‘keeper, but the second goal came three minutes before the break when Danny Power and Mead combined well to release Colman, who cut cleverly into the penalty area before driving the ball home.

The second half was a similar story, but the third goal did not come until stoppage time when new signing Dan Wright finished from close-range after a Danny Power free-kick has been tipped onto the post.
