Today, Berko welcome Cranfield United to Broadwater in the chase for three more league points.

1501: Great early opportunity for Courtney Walsh, but his effort with the outside of his foot.

1508: James Armstrong finds himself in space

1512: A deft control and turn opens up another chance for Francis, and Ryan Thrussell had to get down smartly to his left to stop the effort.

1520: The Comrades are awarded a corner and Anthony Page rises superbly but powers his header over.

1522: Page is clearly upended in the box but the ref waves the appeals away.

1527: With United restricted to rare forays forward, it’s Berko who go close again as Matty Wardle jinks into space and shoots wide.

1530: Berkhamsted are awarded a free-kick for a foul on Danny Power and James Armstrong goes so close from the dead ball.

1531: Cranfield have their first good chance when a free-kick from Jamie Green is deflected wide.

1539: Another opening as Armstrong gets away on his own, feeds Mark Welling, but he scuffs the cross.

1540: Cranfield’s Max Risbey gets a yellow card for a late challenge on Lewis Rodrigoe.

1544: Somehow it’s still goalless.

Half-time: 0-0

1600: We’re off and Cranfield start well.

1605: The link play between Matty Wardle and Danny Power looks like Berko’s most potent threat.

1607: A Comrades corner is half cleared and Paul Leslie hammers the loose ball narrowly over.

1609: Leslie again goes close as he shoots at the far post but the keeper collects.

1611: An accidental collision between the ref and a Cranfield player allows Mark Welling to slip the ball through to Armstrong who fires home. 1-0

1615: A neat move involving Paul Leslie and Matty Wardle ends with Jimmy Armstrong blasting inches over.

1625: A triple change for Berko as Adam Mead, Chris Coleman and Lee Groves replace Paul Leslie, Courtney Francis and Danny Power.

1629: A close squeak for Cranfield as Chris Coleman is played in by Armstrong and his effort rattles the bar and bounces down and away.

1634: Cranfield scent a goal, but Berko are the ones going closest. A superb ball let’s the pacy Coleman loose, but it well blocked.

1635: And what a relief as Matty Wardle clips home the Comrades second. 2-0

1641: A slip lets Cranfield’s Dan Booden in and Eddie Farmer makes a smart save in what are freezing conditions.

1646: Farmer makes another good stop, but Berko counter with a great move to Chris Coleman, but he hits the sidenetting.

1650: The ref blows to put an end to everyones freezing and a 2-0 win over a spirited Cranfield United.

Full-time: 2-0
