1505: Great ball from Darren Caseman just beat a full stretch Jim Armstrong.

1509: A cheeky chip from Tony Burnett livens up the crowd.

1511: Massive let off for Berko as John Vooshy skews wide when in on goal.

1516: Adam Mead sizes up a shot from distance which fizzes just wide.

1520: Another close call as Vooshy’s shot from close range is well parried by Eddie Farmer. He’ll be dreaming about that miss tonight. Bedford are well organised and causing the Comrades a few problems.

1522: Good response as Mead puts Armstrong in, but his half volley drifts wide.

1523: Much harder chance for Vooshy, who is a livewire, but this one sails over.

1525: Back down to the Bedford goal and a scramble from a corner hits the post before being cleared.

1528: Bedford cannot clear and Meady bends in a shot which is well saved, but he recovers well to cross for Aaron Usmani to head over.

1529: The wait ends for John Vooshy as he converts calmly from the penalty spot for Bedford. 0-1

1536: The Comrades are knocking on the door at the minute, lining up chance after chance, but the visitors are defending well.

1544: Last minute and a corner for Berko. Si Carmichael rises superbly, but his header is well collected by the Bedford keeper.

1546: And the door is finally unlocked! A great run and cross from Tony Burnett allows Aaron Usmani to head home. 1-1

Half-time: 1-1

1602: What a start for the Comrades! A cross from Mead is headed back by Darren Caseman and Jimmy Armstrong bags. 2-1

1622: This has developed into a very entertaining clash, and you can see why Bedford have been very hard to beat.

1626: Matty Wardle gets booked for a foul in midfield.

1631: Jim Carmichael replaces the hard working Darren Caseman for Berko.

1634: Usmani makes a great burst into the box, squares for Matty Wardle to applies a sublime finish. 3-1

1635: And a Jimmy Armstrong header makes it four for the Comrades. 4-1

1638: Burnett goes on a great run before being upended by Jan Thorne, who gets a yellow card. Adam Mead sees his curler skip just past the post.

1640: Mark Welling is replaced by Lee Groves with less then ten minutes left.

1650: It’s all over and another three points for the Comrades, 4-1 winners.

Full-time: 4-1

The Comrades reserve game at Sandhurst Town was called off.
