Comrades Presentation Night

Continuing our round up of events at Broadwater over the close season, the Club’s Presentation Night took place on Friday 7th May, and a highly enjoyable evening was had by all.

The medals and trophies were kindly presented by Berkhamsted Town Mayor David Collins.

The First Team Manager’s Player of the Year went to ‘keeper Graeme Milner, whilst the Players’ Player of the Year was a dead heat between strike partners Tony Burnett and James Armstrong, who also collected the Club’s Top Scorer award.

Lawrence Bunker was also presented with his Spartan South Midlands League Golden Boot after a prolific campaign.

The Clubman of the Year award was a richly deserved recognition of the endless hard work of Roger Lambert, as Finance Director, Groundsman and behind the bar.

A special award was made to Pete Jerram, who doubles up as Kit Manager and Goalkeeper Coach.

Danny Johnson picked out young  defender Troy Pienaar as his Player of the Year, whilst teenage goalkeeper Dan Noble bagged the Players’ Player award, Darren Lewis completing the lucky trio after finishing top scorer for the Comrades reserve team.

Thanks to everyone who attended for making it a fantastic evening.
