Berkhamsted 7 – 1 Wodson Park

Berkhamsted beat fellow title contenders Wodson Park 7-1 at Broadwater this afternoon, bringing their league goal tally for the season to 99.

Lawrence Bunker opened from the penalty spot for the Comrades after just two minutes before going on to complete his hat-trick with another pen on 18 minutes and a goal in the 56th minute.

Wodson had pulled one back after 43 minutes to make the score 2-1 through Steve Horsey, but Jim Carmichael’s first goal for the club, two  from Mitchell Hamilton and another from substitute Tony Burnett gave the Comrades a six goal win in arguably their best performance of the season.
