Reserves 1-2 Wodston Park

Berkhamsted FC Reserves’ six-match unbeaten run came to a end on Saturday as Danny Johnson’s side lost 2-1 at home to Wodston Park.

Pete Sawyer opened the scoring for Wodson Park in the first half with a flick header from a corner that went in at the back post, with Sam Leader making it 2-0 in the second half.

Home midfielder Jamie Gavin was sent off for a second yellow, but despite being reduced to 10 men the Comrades were able to get back in the game with a goal from the experienced John Pedder, who had come off the bench.

However, Park held on to complete a league double.

On Saturday Berko’s reserves go to Kent Athletic with a 2pm kick off.
