CHAIRMANS VIEW

Overall, it has been a good first season for us in the Molten Spartan South Midlands Premier Division after our promotion.

Mick, Steve, Stratty and the players should be proud of what they have achieved in establishing us in the top half of the League.

A mid-table finish from the Reserves and Youth Team, with results for both improving in the second half of the season, is encouraging for the next campaign, with the emphasis on youth and developing young players.

It is our aim as a group of Directors to keep the club on a sound financial basis. We therefore need to build on this seasons commercial activities and will be doing so with more events at the club and we hope the fans will support these as much as possible.

In addition, we would like the fans to back the club commercially, for example by getting a group of fans to band together to sponsor a game, which is excellent value for the cost.

We try to keep all prices down for our games, which includes cheap beer prices, food and entrance to games, which we hope the fans appreciate.

Behind the scenes, we have created a supporters club of which Colin Ivey is the chairman. This will help to protect the club in difficult times. For more information contact Colin or pick up one of our leaflets from the bar.
